Schloss Mörlbach operates a co-living model with six fully equipped communal kitchens on each floor. Rooms range from double rooms with private bathrooms to apartments with full living areas, all decorated with real wooden furniture. Each guest receives a labeled shelf in the basement refrigerator and food cabinet for self-catering.

Grounds & Outdoor Recreation

The 5000m2 garden includes an outdoor fireplace, picnic area with grills, and a children's playground with large swings. Guests can rent bicycles to explore the surrounding meadows, forests, and the nearby Starnberger Lake, a 10-minute drive away. Badminton equipment, darts, and table tennis are available on-site.

Farm Shop & Self-Catering

A basement farm shop sells fresh organic produce, including eggs from the château's own chickens, milk from a local farm, bread rolls, croissants, beer, and wine. The communal kitchens are equipped with stoves, ovens, dishwashers, and all necessary cookware. A snack bar and vending machines provide additional drinks and snacks around the clock.

Family & Pet-Friendly Offerings

Children can play with board games and puzzles, use kids' outdoor play equipment, and explore the property's two alpaca enclosures. Dogs are welcome with pet bowls in each room and dog stations at entries, which contain cleaning implements. The garden is open until 10:00 PM, with quiet access permitted after 9:00 PM.

Schloss Mörlbach is situated in Icking, 19 miles from Munich, and reachable by car or the S7 train from Munich HBF to Icking station. Guests can go cycling, canoeing, snorkeling, windsurfing, or diving in the surrounding lakes and rivers.
